The EV Rider Spring Tilt-in-Space Wheelchair is a manually operated wheelchair, constructed with a durable aluminum frame and capable of carrying a maximum patient weight of 300 lb. (135 kg). The wheelchair's height-adjustable armrests, backrest, and push-bars enable it to accommodate the preferences of both patients and caregivers.

However, it is the tilt and recline functionality of the Tilt-n-Space that sets it apart from the standard mobility units.  With a tilt range of -5 to 25 degrees and a recline range of 90 to 120 degrees, it provides comfort and safety to a variety of occupants, including people with developmental or degenerative neuromuscular disorders, patients recovering from spinal cord injuries, among other ailments.

 
Highly Adjustable to Meet Every Need

The ergonomic seat highlights an extendable, height-adjustable and detachable armrest system.  In addition, the rear wheels are available 24", quick-release, and the seat width options are 16", 18", and 22", accommodating various body sizes.  The seat cushion is thick and comfortable.  The front is a little over 3.5" in thickness and it slopes towards the back to a little over 3".
